Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to make some special treats for your loved ones. While store-bought chocolates are great, there’s nothing quite like a homemade sweet or salty snack to say “I Love You.” Here are a few of our favorite Valentine’s treats you can make this year or anytime.
Over at MakingLifeBlissful.com, I found this gorgeous trifle made from strawberries, raspberries, Jell-O Pudding, cake, and whipped cream. It’s super easy and looks so pretty in a nice glass bowl. And the really cool thing is that she has the same basic recipe that can be modified for the 4th of July with blueberries added.
Who doesn’t love Chex Mix? This recipe from Betty Crocker adds some powdered sugar as well as red and pink candies to make it look just right for Valentine’s Day. I love mixing a little sweet with a little salt. This is the perfect combination.
These super cute heart-shaped pie pops are delicious and if you happen to be eating a vegan or gluten-free diet, you will especially love these. The recipe is a little more on the complicated side compared to most of our list, but if you know your way around a kitchen, it should be fine. The end result is certainly worth the effort!
How cute is this? I mean, I have never had a drink made with cream cheese before, but this is to die for. SavorAndSavvy.com has this amazing drink recipe that is a perfect Valentine’s Day treat. With cream cheese, white chocolate, and strawberry syrup, you are in for a real treat.
These delicious cookies by SallysBakingAddiction.com are made with strawberry cake mix! But once they bake, they don’t have a cake texture at all. They are definitely light and fluffy cookies and they are so delicious.
Valentine’s treats don’t have to be super complicated to have a big impact. Whether you are making them for your family or friends, your child’s classroom at school, or just for yourself, these treats will make your Valentine’s Day much sweeter.
